There are today several companies offering exercisers in the USA and Canada and they all claim to be "experts in horse affairs"...However, EGM is the only company owned by a successful horse trainer. Yves Lefay started as a professional trainer in France in 1976 and used some of the first exercisers 20 years ago. Competing in Jumpers, Yves won among other titles the French Championship for 5 yr old jumpers. Yves Lefay moved to California in 1984 and after showing jumpers for a few years, competed in Dressage and represented France in international competition in 1995 and 1996. Yves started Euro Gait Master in 1994 with the goal of manufacturing the best quality training equipment, make it easy to use and maintain as well as offering it at the best price possible.
